WDAY Radio: North Dakota Democrat joins District 21 House race
FARGO, N.D. – A North Dakota Democrat has announced a run for the State House.
Laura Dronen is the Communication and Digital Director of the North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party. She has held various other roles, ranging from strategizing voter outreach, running trainings, to managing organizing staff.
“District 21 has a long history of sending thoughtful and knowledgeable people to Bismarck, and I hope to carry that torch in the North Dakota House,” Dronen said. “I’ll fight to fully fund our public schools, lower costs for working families, and keep a watchful eye on the effects of data centers and the use of artificial intelligence in our communities.”
She’s a previous staffer of Senator Heidi Heitkamp, Chair of the District 21 Democratic-NPL and President of New Generation North Dakota.
Dronen is a Fargo North and Concordia College graduate.
